English Cologne on Telegram

We have TWO elements on Telegram

1: THE CHANNEL: @EnglishCologne

A Telegram channel can be thought of much like a Twitter channel: English Cologne posts updates which people subscribe to by joining the channel.

2: THE GROUP: @EnglishCologneGroup

The group is our community space on Telegram.

 

People who join the group can respond to group discussions started by other group members, or start a new group discussion of their own by posting a new message in the group. 

 

Make sure to adhere to the group rules 👍 

It is helpful to understand how these two elements function together. It's not complicated, but it does require some application.

Our Channel is connected to the Group. 

What that means in practical terms is that channel posts are forwarded into the group and replies to those forwarded posts within the group are shown as "comments" on the channel posts.

Why should you care about any of this?

Because you are a part of the English Cologne community.
